π Travel Diary: Autumn at Sungkyunkwan University π
Autumn in Seoul has always been one of the most beautiful seasons to experience, and this year our family decided to make it extra special. We planned a visit to Sungkyunkwan University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Korea, but also a hidden gem for autumn lovers. Many people come here not just for the history, but for the chance to witness its most iconic treasure β a hundred-year-old ginkgo tree that turns into a golden masterpiece every fall.
The moment we stepped onto the campus, we were surrounded by rows of ginkgo trees lining the paths, their leaves shimmering in the sunlight like thousands of golden coins. But the highlight was, of course, the ancient ginkgo tree standing tall in the courtyard. Its size was overwhelming, with branches spreading wide as if embracing everyone beneath it. At the peak of autumn, every leaf had turned a bright yellow, making it look almost magical, as if we had walked straight into a painting.

Jean brought her whole family here to capture the moment, and it was truly unforgettable. We spent hours taking photos, watching the kids play with the fallen leaves, and just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the university grounds. There was something so calming about being there β the blend of history, nature, and the warmth of family made it feel like a perfect autumn day.
